Spark has introduced Bottomless Beats, Bytes & Burgers to celebrate the launch of free data for Spotify music on Spark mobile plans.

Spark has given music lovers something to celebrate with the launch of free data for Spotify music on all Spark Pay Monthly mobile plans, which will help New Zealanders enjoy their favourite tunes without cutting into their data allowance.

To mark the occasion, Spark is hosting an exclusive Bottomless Beats, Bytes & Burgers event at iconic Ponsonby burger spot, Parade on 26 March. There are only 25 double passes up for grabs  to the free event, which will feature all-you-can-eat burgers, fries and endless tunes.

The limited-edition menu includes creative spins on classic burgers and drinks, taking inspiration from some of music’s biggest names and genres. These include the ‘Taylor Swiss’ burger and  ‘Smash Hits’ smash burger, plus delicious drinks like the ‘Jolly Parton’ and ‘Splice of Heaven’.  The music on the night will include a custom playlist designed to complement the limited edition burgers and drinks, and guests will also get the opportunity to add their favourite songs to the queue.

With a focus on bringing more entertainment to customers through partnerships with Spotify,  Netflix, Neon, Spark Arena, and money can’t buy VIP music experiences and gaming offers,  Spark is now making it easier than ever for mobile customers to enjoy the music they love on the go, even without data.

“We’ve had a longstanding partnership with  Spotify spanning over a decade, and this is an exciting next step that helps deliver more value to our mobile customers,” said Spark Marketing and Data Director Matt Bain.

“With free data for Spotify music streaming, customers on eligible Spark mobile plans can listen  to their favourite songs while they’re commuting to work, road-tripping, going for a run or out and  about, without worrying about data limits.”

Selected spark stores at Commercial Bay, Westfield St Lukes, Westfield Newmarket, and Sylvia Park have QR codes for entrants to scan in order to be in the draw for free tickets. The event will run from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and is stricly R18.
