Supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) New Zealand, a new collection of 100 recipes from a range of the country’s top restaurants have been put together in a collection of cuisine for a cause in The Supper Club Recipe Book. Full of a combination of unique and delicious dishes donated by restaurants, families who have stayed at a Ronald McDonald House, and various food writers and sponsors, this book is perfect for all cooks, food lovers and book lovers.

All funds raised from sales will help the charity provide families with accommodation while their child is away from home in hospital. Each year, more than 3,700 families across New Zealand stay at a Ronald McDonald House.

The book features exquisite recipes donated by over 50 leading New Zealand restaurants including Auckland’s Culprit, Sails Restaurant, Non Solo Pizza, Wellington’s Capitol, and Queenstown’s Fishbone Restaurant.

“We are humbled to have the support of so many amazing restaurants, sponsors and supporters who have all come together for our cause. Proceeds from this book will go a long way to providing a ‘home-away-from-home’ for all families who need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House,” said RMHC New Zealand chief executive, Wayne Howett.

The Supper Club Recipe Book’s title is an acknowledgement to RMHC New Zealand’s Supper Club fundraising event in which the restaurant guests will be dining at is drawn out of a hat on the night. Debi Rush, Angela Rowland and Sonia Sund came up with the idea for the book and are three passionate McDonald’s franchisees who, for years, have contributed to the Supper Club events.

“We’re so impressed with the outstanding contributions we received and the gorgeous book that resulted,” said Rush, who also added the three are proud to have produced the book and created another way to help RMHC New Zealand and the families the organisation supports.
