Counterfeit culture has been sweeping the country over the last few years – no matter where you stand with buying fakes, it is undoubtedly a market that has been sweeping the globe for decades.
Have you ever wondered which brands most shoppers are most interested in saving a pretty penny on?
OnBuy utilised Ahrefs to find the average monthly search volumes of some of our favourite luxury and higher-priced brands:
With a whopping 61,990 global searches monthly, Yeezy tops the list of high priced brands that shoppers search for when it comes to fakes.
When searching for knock-offs, shoppers are most interested in shoes, hoodies and bags. This is most likely because these items are the simplest to replicate, so the knock-off ends up looking scarily similar.
OnBuy surveyed 4,300 British consumers to see where they stand in counterfeit culture.
They found that 22 percent of those surveyed already owned knock-offs, and just over 1 in 2 of them (54 percent) would consider buying a fake.
It seems times are changing as more shoppers are warming up to the idea of keeping up that A-list lifestyle without paying the luxury price tag.
What are you views on knock-offs?
