Prime Video has shared a new range of TV shows and movies available to grace screens nationwide in June, from action-packed thrills and dark, thought-provoking watches to questionable romances.


Deadloch

From the wickedly funny minds of Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan comes the eight-part crime comedy, Deadloch. The Tasmanian town of Deadloch, a once sleepy seaside hamlet, is left reeling when a local man turns dead on the beach. Two female detectives are thrown together to solve the case: Fastidious local Senior Sergeant Dulcie Collins, a rough as-guts blow-in from Darwin, Senior Investigator Eddie Redcliffe, and their overeager junior constable Abby. As the town prepares to launch the annual arts, food and culture event, Winter Festival, the trio must put their differences aside and work together to find the killer.

The Covenant

Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant follows US Army Sergeant John Kinley (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Afghan interpreter Ahmed (Dar Salim). After an ambush, Ahmed goes to Herculean lengths to save Kinley’s life. When Kinley learns that Ahmed and his family were not given safe passage to America as promised, he must repay his debt by returning to the war zone to retrieve them before the Taliban hunts them down first.

Medellín

Medellín follows Pablito, a young YouTuber fascinated by Pablo Escobar, who makes his dream come true by flying to Medellín to walk in the notorious drug lord’s footsteps. A few days later, a video on social media shows that a group of dangerous Narcos kidnapped Pablito. He will only be released for a substantial ransom. « Plata O Plomo! ». But the Narcos are unaware that Pablito has a big brother who will devise a crazy masterplan: putting together a team of underdogs, going head-to-head with the Cartel members in Colombia to get his little brother home safe and sound.
