The sequel to the Disney and Pixar family film Inside Out has just released a trailer welcoming Envy and other emotions, and we aren’t ready. Expectations are high after the first film. I don’t have kids, but I definitely cried my eyes out the first time I watched it.
Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new emotions! Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.
The film, directed by Kelsey Mann, welcomes new characters: Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment, voiced by renowned actors Ayo Edebiri, Maya Hawke, Adèle Exarchopoulos, and Paul Walter Hauser.
The film will be released in New Zealand cinemas on the 27th of June 2024.
