With New Zealand’s iconic Vogel’s loaf not available overseas, many Kiwis are going without their favourite bread.
To help Kiwis travel with their much-loved toast, Vogel’s has launched an innovative travel wear collection, BreadyWear.
Designed exclusively for New Zealanders to take their beloved Vogel’s loaves overseas, the unique fashion line means Kiwis can wear the bread while avoiding taking up precious space in their luggage and risking additional baggage fees – because they don’t weigh it if you wear it.
By up-and-coming fashion designer Vicki Foggo, the limited edition BreadyWear Collection is made up of two signature pieces: The Breaded Jacket, which holds up to 32 slices of Vogel’s, expertly crafted into silhouette of a jacket and the Neckloaf, a fashionable travel pillow that carries two whole loaves.
“The transparent design is both fashionable and functional, allowing the wearer to take their Vogel’s abroad while unashamedly flaunting the bread in front of jealous passengers,” said Vogel’s spokesperson, Jesper Poulsen.
“BreadyWear is a genius solution for those wondering how they will ever survive overseas without their Vogel’s loaves – now, they can look stylish while keeping their beloved bread close, rather than having to stuff it into their luggage and pay those extra baggage fees.”
Foggo added that she jumped at the chance to create this innovative range of travel wear.
“As a Vogel’s fan myself, this has been something of a passion project for me, and I’m proud to be helping people travel with their Vogel’s, thanks to BreadyWear.”
The Vogel’s BreadyWear collection will be available among high-end retailers at a Pop Up at Auckland Airport on the 7th of April.
Stop by before your flight and grab the ultimate travel essential, so you can have your toast and wear it too.
