A previously unreleased track by Queen frontman Freddie Mercury has been released by Universal Music Studios, 33 years after it was first recorded.
The song, ‘Time Waits For No One’, was originally recorded in 1986 for the concept album of the musical Time with musician Dave Clark. A video to accompany the song has also been released, showing previously unseen performance footage of Mercury. The video was recorded in April 1986 at the Dominon Theatre in London.
The release comes in the wake of the successful biopic of Mercury’s life, Bohemian Rhapsody. Rami Malek, who played the singer, won an Oscar at the 91st Academy Awards.
