With a passion for the ocean, owners Marianne and Peter opened JARKs Surfside Café, Bar & Restaurant at Waimarama Beach, a small coastal town just 20 minutes from Havelock North.
The name JARKs is an acronym derived from our four children’s names Jason, Alicia, Rebecca & Kiel.
After almost eight successful, years at the beach, in 2014 Marianne and Peter decided to take the same simple food and service philosophy into Hastings with JARKs Cityside, where country meets city.
