Autumn is here to stay, and we’re cracking open a red. Marlborough vineyard, Sacred Hill, have added two new Pinot Noirs to their already vast collection of vino. The 2016 Orange Label Pinot Noir has aromas of strawberry, dark cherry, cinnamon and nutmeg. The wine has a sweet taste, which goes perfectly with beef, mushrooms and lamb. The 2015 Sacred Hill Halo Pinot Noir is a well-priced premium wine, with an aroma of sweet dried herbs, vanilla, dark cherry and Christmas Cake. Pinot Noirs are a classic red wine, and great to have on hand for when guests pop over.
