Italy is set to host The Word Cheese awards for the first time this year. The event will take place in Bergamo on Friday 18 October, as part of the FORME cheese festival. The event was previously held at Bergen, Norway last November and saw record numbers with 3,472 cheeses from 41 different countries being judged by an international panel of 230 experts.
