Icons of pop music’s greatest era are lined up to perform at Auckland’s Spark Arena in early February.
A near-complete re-assembly of Now That’s What I Call Music 4 will rock the concert, called So Pop. Aqua, Vengaboys, Blue, Eiffel 65, and more 90s and early-noughties are arriving on Kiwi shores to send everyone who ever owned Hit Clips into a frenzy.
The four-hour concert can’t hope to capture the entire discography of music’s greatest decade, but it will try its hardest with the help of experienced MC and Thin Lizzy advocate Suzanne Paul. The full line up of acts is:
Aqua
Vengaboys
Blue
Eiffel 65
2Unlimited
Lou Bega
B*Witched
The Outhere Brothers
Mr President
Collectively, this line-up has sold more than 120 million records globally.
So Pop is a concert series hitting Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Auckland, and Brisbane – it arrives in Auckland for one night only on February 5th next year.
Tickets go on sale for the February concert on October 16th.
