East has made top-tier dining more accessible this Restaurant Month, with a specially curated two-course menu for NZD 45 from its Michelin-selected menu.
The only vegetarian restaurant among 110 recognised in the inaugural Guide, East has built a reputation for bold, flavour-led Asian cuisine that places vegetables firmly at the centre of the plate.
That philosophy has extended beyond the menu, with more than 75 percent of dishes vegan or available with a vegan option, and 60 to 70 percent of produce sourced locally.
Throughout August, diners can experience the restaurant’s signature dining approach through a menu showcasing East’s most-loved dishes, accompanied by a complimentary glass of Shield Riesling 2023 from Nelson.
Guests will begin with East’s Crispy Cups and a dumpling selection, then choose from Char Kway Teow noodles, Malaysian Nyonya Vegetable Curry, or Spicy Kung Pao Eggplant.
Desserts and additional sides are also available.
The Restaurant Month celebrations will continue at Sunset, located at the top of Sudima Auckland City overlooking the harbour.
For NZD 30, diners can enjoy a choice of Mojo Buttermilk Fried Chicken or Grilled Halloumi, paired with one of four signature daiquiris: Passionfruit, Black Plum, Strawberry, or Classic.
