As the cooler months envelop Auckland, Turua Gallery warmly invites you to Homebody, a group exhibition that celebrates the serene beauty of winter and the intimate spaces we cherish.

Featuring captivating still lifes, intimate nudes, and tranquil interior scenes, Homebody offers a diverse array of styles that resonate with both seasoned collectors and those new to the art world.

This thoughtfully curated collection brings together ten esteemed artists, each exploring themes of domesticity, stillness, and the essence of home. Each piece invites viewers to reflect on the warmth and tranquillity that define our personal sanctuaries during the winter season.

“As we hunker down for winter, we wanted to celebrate the essence of home. There’s a genuine happiness in embracing the comforts of being a homebody during the winter season,” said Liss Wallace, Turua Gallery owner.

“We’ve invited ten of our cherished artists to capture the warmth and intimacy of home and still life, evoking all the cosy feelings this season brings. With such a heartfelt collection, we’re confident everyone will find something they would love to bring home this winter.”
