Local company Dust & Glow made waves earlier this year when it launched its powder-based beauty products, and now the range is getting an extra ‘dust up’ with the launch of Dust & Glow Powder Based Conditioner.
Set to reinvent your beauty routine, the waterless conditioner transforms from powder to cream when mixed with water — formulated with spirulina, soy protein and a pre and probiotic complex to leave you with detangled, conditioned and hydrated hair. The result is luscious hair and a happy scalp – what more could you want?
The ingredients have been carefully selected for their natural properties and efficacy in delivering soft, healthy hair. Designed to be used after shampoo, simply sprinkle ¼ teaspoon of dust on wet hands, lather onto hands and slide through damp hair. Leave for three minutes and rinse.
“After a successful launch in May, we’re thrilled to be extending the range with a high performing Powder Based Conditioner. Our shampoo has proved popular amongst our customers due to its efficacy, environmental stance and the result of soft, cleansed hair – so adding a conditioner to the range was a natural progression. We can’t wait to see what people think,” expressed Dust & Glow founder Gaelle Thieme.
The unscented formula is super concentrated and will last up to 60 washes, the equivalent of three bottles of liquid products due to its potent formula. Packaged in aluminium bottles, each Dust & Glow product can be kept and refilled with home compostable refills, saving the planet and saving you water all in one easy step!
The formulas only use natural (and organic where possible) active ingredients and minerals. Its natural active ingredients are biodegradable, and all nasties have been eliminated, ensuring only goodness remains.
With every purchase, Dust & Glow donates one per cent of gross sales to help bring access to people in need with Charity: water, a non-profit organisation bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries.
Proving it’s been a big year for the company, Dust & Glow was recently announced as a finalist in the SODA Rise Up Competition, recognising female entrepreneurs. Founder Gaelle Thieme is one of five finalists vying for a $10,000 grant to help boost the business, with the winner announced in late November.
