Episode Thirty:

This episode concluded the friends and family visits and saw the couples embark on separate boys’ and girls’ nights, which was guaranteed to erupt in confrontation, even without Cyrell.

The visits were concluded with Jess being slightly called out by Mick’s sister, who did not explicitly say but heavily implied that Jess was acting fake. This offended Jess for some unknown reason because she was indeed acting fake.

Also, Ning and Mark were visited by some of Mark’s friends, who thought that their word was gospel and sent Ning into a bit of a spiral. His friends basically said that they think their whole relationship is doomed at that there is no spark between them. Ning was, understandably, upset because who even asked him?!

Let’s start with the BOYS NIGHT.

Michael knows all about Dan and Jess’s nasty little affair so spent the whole night sweating about whether something will come out, and it almost did.

Cam went for the jugular and straight up asked Dan if he was attracted to any of the other wives. Dan admited that he is attracted to Jess and that she gives him Goosebumps (ew) but denied that anything had happened between them. The revelation offended Mick, who has no idea of the landslide of crap coming towards him.

Aside from this awkward moment the night was spent will, with drunken singing and some good man love.

GIRLS NIGHT, on the other hand, was a mess just like the last one.

Jess and Martha snuck off to discuss Jess’s gross encounters with Dan, which was the least subtle thing I have seen since Cyrell’s confrontations.

The other girls were trying unsuccessfully to eavesdrop, but the two eventually came back and were hit with a barrage of questions. Tamara was all but begging Jess to admit that there is something going on between her and Dan, but Jess just wasn’t budging. Her shifty eyes were enough to give it away, but it seemed that Tamara wanted to hear it directly from the horse’s mouth.

Jess attempted to take the attention off of her self by sabotaging a budding but fragile relationship, and it was the most despicable thing you will have seen yet.

Jess told Ning that Mark has no feelings for her, and once he is finished on the show will go out and sleep with a whole lot of prostitutes. Which sounded like a complete load of rubbish, and many of the other women agreed.

Heidi, Jules and Cam all came for Jess, insisted that she was just trying to stir the pot and tried to convince Ning not to start spiralling. But they were too little too late. Ning decided that they would all be able to talk about it at the dinner party tomorrow, but she looked utterly heartbroken, and it was sad to see.

Cutest Moment of the Episode:

The boys having a beautiful camp-fire moment, telling each other how much they love and care for each other. How sweet.

Most Hilarious Moment of the Episode:

Pre-girls night, the women thinking that their evening was going to be anything other than a complete dramafest. What hilarious naivety.
