Auckland is the place to be this weekend, especially if it’s art or food that you’re interested in.
The Aotearoa Art fair has opened in Auckland, and this has a list of 40 participating galleries showcasing their work, including 13 from overseas.
The Cloud on Auckland’s waterfront has been transformed into an international art gallery for three days to host this event, which has promised to be the best display of local art.
As well as the Aotearoa Art Fair, also open at Silo Park/Wynyard Quarter is the Indulge Festival. The festival features a sample of the local culinary scene, with eight of Auckland’s best restaurants on show. There are ten wineries from all over New Zealand, a champagne terrace, and breweries and wine among many other activities.
Many pieces of art are available for purchase, and the festivals are open until Sunday, 5th March. Vip Passes are available for purchase, as well as general admission.
