Beautiful and Functional Cookware for the Everyday Chef is Here

Meet Crumble. Long lasting affordable cast iron cookware that’s pretty enough for your counter.

On the hunt for beautiful, functional and affordable cookware that can be handed down through generations? Then Crumble cookware is set to become your new favourite cooking companion.

Founded in 2020 by Melbourne based husband and wife duo Kelvin Chan and Chloe Qu, Crumble was born out of frustration when the couple found themselves spending money on expensive cookware that did not live up to expectations.

“Constantly disappointed with pots and pans on the market Chloe and I discovered that middlemen cookware companies were selling massively overpriced products that were then heavily ‘discounted’ to lure consumers in to make a purchase. Despite the impression of superior quality through luxury prices, the reality is poor quality and disappointing value-for-money, not to mention the strain on the environment due to manufacturing processes,” says Crumble co-founder Kelvin Chan.

“Determined to provide a better cast iron cookware alternative, we decided to develop our own range; one that was functional, aesthetically chic and yet economical. Quality cookware should be the cornerstone of your kitchen and Crumble aims to make that more attainable,” added Chan.

Crumble’s cast iron range features heavy-duty pots (dutch ovens) and pans that are non-stick and non-toxic; suitable for frying, boiling, roasting and baking; and will happily go from stovetop to oven and vice versa. The unique SaveurCycle moisture and flavour lock technology produces consistently tender and flavourful results, and the range is suitable for use on gas, electric and induction cooktops. What’s more, the products can be thrown in the dishwasher when you’re done to minimise the mess that comes with washing up.

The beautiful cookware range includes the Classic Round (26cm), Baby (20cm), Oval (30cm) and Shallow (30cm) Dutch Ovens as well as a Classic Skillet (26cm) in a range of eye catching colours including Popcorn Yellow, Pink Sand, Broccoli Green, Midnight Grey, Shiny Princess Purple, Mint Green, Hermes Blue and many more – all worthy of sitting proudly on your countertop instead of stuffed away in a cupboard.

“Crumble wants to provide customers with cast iron cookware that will last a lifetime – and then some. We feel strongly that an initial investment into your Crumble-ware will quickly repay you multiple times over as you experience the consistent, flavoursome results for years to come,” said Chan.

Pass down your beautiful cast iron Crumble-ware through generations, along with the memories of the aromas, flavours and sentiments it allows you to share with those you love. That is Crumble’s mission – to encourage home cooking, inspire wellness, cultivate family connection, embrace richness and flavour, and to ensure you are getting the full value of your investment – no corners cut.

In 2023, Crumble released two new product ranges – non-stick ceramic frypans and saucepans, and a knives range. Crumble’s new non-stick cookware is suitable for all stovetops, including induction cooktops and is oven friendly. All cookware can withstand temperatures of up to 300 degrees celsius. Coated with two layers of Swiss PFAS-free ceramic coating, which is 100% non-toxic, this range has a superior non-stick effect, is durable and easy to cook with.

The knives range is made from Japanese AUS-10 Stainless Steel and is perfect for home or professional use. Crumble’s knives offer the perfect balance of both German knife durability and Japanese precision sharpness, with a Rockwell scale of 58+. The knives feature a lightweight design and ergonomic handle that’s easy to hold and sits comfortably in the palm of your hand.
