Restaurant and Café have teamed up with Wendy’s to give aspiring young chefs the chance to win burger glory for themselves, and their school. Wendy’s invites secondary school students to enter their burger creation to win the chance to have their burger feature on the Wendy’s menu for a limited time. Additionally, Burns and Ferrall have provided prizes for the winners’ schools. The top three contestants will receive Burns and Ferrall vouchers for the fitout of their school to the value of $1500 for first place, $500 for second place, and $50 for third place.

Finalists will be invited to compete in a live cook-off on the 13th of August at the NZ Chefs Hospitality Championships taking place in Auckland, 11th to the 13th of August. At the cook-off, our expert judges will critique the burgers and decide the final three.
