Due to demand, the Eagles have added a second show in Auckland. Tickets to the first show went on sale yesterday, and due to a high response the band will be playing a second show on Wednesday 27th February at Spark Arena.
The Eagles came to fame in the 70s, and are still one of the best-selling American bands of all time, having sold more than 150 million albums and winning six Grammys. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 – their first year of eligibility.
The setlist for their show celebrates the best of their work, pulling from all seven studio albums. Reviews of the Eagles World Tour are excellent, with the original band members coming together with an exceptional live band for reinvigorated performances of classics like Hotel California and Take It Easy.
The world tour is the band’s first visit to Australia and New Zealand in four years. Their last visit resulted in such high demand for tickets that multiple arena shows were added in every capital city.
Sales for the second concert will start on Tuesday 23rd October at 2pm.
