FASHION, FOOD AND FLEMINGTON

Trelise Cooper and SKYCITY have partnered to celebrate the Melbourne Cup. Bringing together the very best of Auckland fashion and food to deliver New Zealand’s longest runway show on Federal Street.

The event will take place on the 7th November across five of SKYCITY’s stylish restaurants; The Sugar Club, Huami, Gusto at the Grand, MASU and The Grill. Each restaurant will be screening the race, showing the Trelise Cooper runway show and offering a long lunch or  dinner with a complementary drink.

The runway, at more than 400 meters will loop through each of the restaurants with the show ending at the heights of the Sugar Club on level 53 of the Sky Tower. The event will focus on race wear with more than a dozen models showcasing Dame Trelise Coopers, Cooper Spring-Summer 2018 and Trelise Cooper collections.

“Flemington is all about high fashion and fine food and Fashion on Federal brings the very best of both together, and to be partnering with an icon like Trelise Cooper certainly reflects this,” says Lizzie Leuchars, SKYCITY Corporate Events Manager.

Lunch is set to begin at 12.30pm with the first of three runway shows beginning at 2pm. For those of you unable to make the lunch show, the Sugar Club event starts at 4pm just in time to enjoy your four course degustation dinner with the Melbourne Cup race.

The ‘Best Dressed’ from each restaurant will win at night’s stay in SKYCITY Hotel with the five finalists being judged by Trelise Cooper and the overall winner receiving an additional prize package, including being upgraded to the SKYCITY Grand Presidential Suite.
