The red carpet photos from the premiere of The Idea Of You have dropped, and Anne Hathaway is once again proving that age is just a number.
Based on the acclaimed contemporary love story based on a novel, the film is centred around Solène, played by Anne Hathaway.
Solène, a 40-year-old single mother, begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell, played by Nicholas Galitzine. Campbell is the face of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet.
The pair met at the Coachella Music Festival after Solène’s ex bailed, leaving her to chaperone her teenage daughter’s trip. As they begin their whirlwind romance, Solène discovers that life in Campbell’s spotlight might be more than she bargained for.
The cast scrubbed up for the carpet, with Hathaway stealing the show in a red structured strapless dress. The contrast of the colour against her hair created a striking effect, with the high slit showing that despite being 41, she will never leave her prime.
Galitzine kept things simple but classy in a grey marle suit, light blue collared shirt, and no tie.
The two leads look remarkably close despite the 12-year age gap, which has us questioning what Anne Hathaways skincare routine is.
