The first day of this year’s New Zealand Fashion Week: Kahuria was held at the Viaduct Events Centre. The show, full of creative innovation and style, was attended by fashion enthusiasts and insiders.
With unique visions from established and emerging Aotearoa designers, three was a diverse range of collections from names like Rory William Docherty, Jacqueline Anne, Conscious Fashion, Chaos & Harmony and Campbell Luke.
There was also a celebration of three decades of Kate Sylvester and the women who inspired her during the discussion series of the NZFW alongside author Stacy Gregg.
Award-winning fashion designer and cultural ambassador Kiri Nathan, who has been leading the Māori design in the industry, kicked off the programme at The Runway.
