South Australia is gearing up to host a busy few months of events over Spring and Summer.
The city of Adelaide and its surrounding regions will come alive with a vibrant food festival and competitive sports events.
CheeseFest 18 – 19 October 2025

Australia’s biggest outdoor cheese festival is back and celebrating its 20th birthday.
This October, CheeseFest will once again transform Adelaide’s CBD into a foodie paradise, showcasing the finest from Australia’s cheesemakers, artisan food producers, winemakers, brewers and distillers.
Visitors can taste dozens of unique styles of artisan cheese alongside other dairy delights, including gelato, butter and yoghurt, as well as cheese-based dishes from South Australia’s best restaurants – and even vegan options.
They can also indulge in a full weekend of gourmet experiences, including passes for two and a luxury cheese-and-wine picnic hamper. Perfect for a spring day out!
bp ADL Grand Final 27 – 30 November 2025

Adelaide will host the Grand Final this year, with the culmination of a down-to-the-wire Supercars Finals Series format taking to the streets of Adelaide.
With the champion of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship to be crowned in a guaranteed battle in Adelaide, fans will enjoy more Supercars action under the new format, hosting the title-deciding final three races in the Adelaide Parklands, with the introduction of a new 100km Friday race, setting up the blockbuster Saturday and Sunday 250km races.
The event has also been expanded to host the fifth and final round of the 2025 BOOST MOBILE AUSX Supercross Championship. Attractions include drag car demonstrations, a free family zone packed with entertainment and activities for all ages, speedway racing, a V8s on display and Oracle Red Bull Racing’s championship-winning F1 car.
There’s off-track entertainment too, with global superstar Lenny Kravitz headlining the Saturday Night Concert at Victoria Park. The Sunday night concert features legendary rock band AC/DC, joined by special guests JET.
Adelaide Polo Classic 12 December 2025

The Adelaide Polo Classic returns as one of Adelaide’s largest end-of-year parties. Set against the backdrop of a nationally recognised polo competition, the event showcases the best of local chefs, fine wines, champagne, and fashion.
Guests can get up close to the fast-paced polo action, creating an inclusive and thrilling atmosphere for all attendees.
Adelaide International 12 – 17 January 2026

The Adelaide International is serving up a full week of entertainment. Featuring a lineup of both national and international players, the tennis tournament runs from the early qualifying rounds right through to the high-stakes finals.
Matches are scheduled across the day and into the evening, giving fans plenty of chances to catch the action.
Off the court, the event offers a range of family-friendly activities to keep everyone entertained. From giant lawn games to inflatable tennis courts, there’s plenty to explore between matches, making it a welcoming space for both tennis fans and casual visitors alike.
Santos Tour Down Under 16 – 25 January 2026

The Santos Tour Down Under is the first stop for the world’s best cycling teams and riders, and the UCI WorldTour season opener. First held in 1999, it is the biggest cycling race in the southern hemisphere. The 10-day event brings both male and female UCI WorldTour professional cycling teams to race on the streets of Adelaide and regional South Australia.
Liv Golf Adelaide 2026 13 – 15 February 2026
This February, 54 of the biggest names in golf will compete across 13 teams at The Grange Golf Club. The event welcomes both longtime golf fans and those just getting started.
Enjoy live concerts and experience the vibrant LIV Golf Fan Village. With over 100,000 fans attending last year, this landmark event is expected to be even bigger in 2026.
