Chicken & Pea Dumplings

Prep time 20 mins / Cooking time 12 mins

• 300g chicken mince

• 20g chives, finely chopped

• 2 stalks spring onion, finely chopped

• 1 cup peas, chopped

• 1 tbsp tamari soy sauce

• 1 tsp cider vinegar

• 1 pkt dumpling wrappers

• 1 quantity tamari dressing

1. Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well. Place 20g of mix in the centre of each dumpling wrapper, moisten the outer edges and crimp together to form semicircles.

2. Put 4cm of water in saucepan and bring to the boil. Divide dumplings between steaming baskets, and place baskets over boiling water. Steam for 12 minutes. Spoon over tamari dressing (see recipe below) and serve.

Tamari Dressing 

• 4 tbsp tamari soy sauce

• 2 tbsp cider vinegar

• ½ tsp white sugar

• 1 tsp black sesame seeds

Whisk together all ingredients until combined.
