NASA just uploaded 8,400 hipster space photos on Flickr

No wonder why they are so cool it was shot on a chest-mounted Hasselblad, but that’s not all – they didn’t just upload the 50 best ones they uploaded over 8,000 images. The images are every single photo taken from the Apollo trips from 1969-1972 Earth’s go-to space club, NASA, made the massive update to their archive on Sunday TO A FLICKR ACCOUNT. Like Flickr is great and all…but you guys are serious astronauts. I thought Flickr was blocked on school computers – HOW WILL WE EDUCATE THE CHILDREN? But seriously, I thought they could’ve at least put their own website together? Like some sort of NASA official photo archive.

But hey they are still freaking beautiful. Good work, Astronauts.
