Te Papa gets Terracotta

One of Chinas most famous attractions will be making its way to Kiwi shores later this year. Te Papa, Wellingtons national museum will be home to the exhibition of the 2300-year-old Terracotta warriors.

Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality will be open to the public from December, displaying ten of the 2300-year-old ancient treasures from the tomb of China’s first emperor, alongside a collection of about 160 extravagant treasures from imperial Chinese tombs. The exhibition is said to cost over 2.6 million dollars and will be open from this December until April 2019.
