Thousands of fans, seven stages, one city-wide takeover, Jim Beam Homegrown in Hamilton is set to do it all again.
Andrew Tuck, Jim Beam Homegrown CEO, has confirmed Jim Beam Homegrown will return to Claudelands Oval in Kirikiriroa, Hamilton, on Saturday, the 3rd of April 2027.
“We always believed Hamilton was the right move for Homegrown, and last year proved it,” he said.
“There was a real energy from the city, the fans, and the artists. Locking in 2027 is about building on that momentum and continuing to grow something pretty special in the Waikato.”
The 2026 event drew around 25,000 people to the city and delivered a strong boost to the local economy, and that scale is exactly what the move north unlocked.
Hamilton gives us the room to go bigger. We’ve got bigger plans for 2027.
He added that what was delivered last year was just the beginning. The space, the layout, and the city’s support take Homegrown to another level.
Jim Beam Homegrown 2027 will once again bring together multiple stages, a genre-spanning line-up, and a full-scale festival experience, bringing people together.
“You show up with your crew, and by the end of the day, you’ve got a few more. That’s what makes it special.”
As Jim Beam Homegrown heads into its 19th year, releasing the first loyal fan tickets during New Zealand Music Month is a chance to celebrate the industry and the people who’ support it.
Loyal fan registrations opened at 7 pm on Monday, the 27th of April, providing exclusive first access to limited loyal fan tickets, which go on sale at 8 am on Tuesday, the 5th of May.
