You Can Stay in Dolly Parton’s Iconic Tour Bus

Queen of country Dolly Parton has lived the life in her time as an entertainer, music legend, style icon, businesswoman, philanthropist, author, singer and songwriter and now you can live it too – with a stay in her iconic tour bus Gypsy Wagon.

After over a decade on the road, Dolly’s tour bus has clocked up over 360,000 miles throughout all of North America, including 60 cities in the US and Canada on the Pure & Simple Tour in 2016. Used from 2008 – 2022, the bus was the very place in which Parton penned albums like 9 to 5: The Musical and Backwoods Barbie.

Now, you can pen dreams of your own – in the bus’ final destination at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, a camp country theme park with plenty of kitsch and hickory charm.

Known as Suite 1986, the 45-foot motorhome sleeps two and comes with an extra guest room in the DreamMore Resort & Spa that accommodates four. Patrons will find everything they need to live a lavish lifestyle including a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, a tub, a dining area and two toilets. Built so that Parton could get work done while on the road, the entertainer found it so cosy she often spent the night inside instead of booking a hotel room – just what you’d need for unwinding after a full-on day exploring the DreamMore Resort & Spa’s VIP dining experiences and Pink Jeep Wrangler adventure tours.

You may sleep a little easier alongside Dolly’s giant cabinet of trademark blonde wigs knowing a portion of the proceeds from your stay are donated to The Dollywood Foundation, which gives books to over a million children every month – considering the whopping price tag of US$10,000 for at least two nights stay.
