GOOD TIMES ON THE NORTH SHORE

This destination eatery at Smales Farm has only just turned one, however, the patronage it’s attracting to its vibe and variety is more what you’d expect from an establishment far beyond its years.

North Shore’s Goodside is really coming of age and a lot has happened in its first year.

More than 255,000 coffees have been sold, 423,500 compostable items have been handed out, not to mention 1,800 giant Jenga games played, plus over 2,600 dogs supping from their complimentary water bowls.

As a local, and now increasingly an Auckland-wide favourite, the relaxed and leafy dining destination has settled into Smales Farm well, serving the workforce of the area as well as being open to the public seven days a week.

Smales Farm CEO, Paul Gunn, said the growth of Goodside has been exciting to watch. “It’s attracting visitors from all over Auckland as word is getting out. Goodside is proving itself as an extremely popular destination, providing food lovers with an exceptional collection of the city’s best food and beverage artisans, along with new pop up offerings every month.”

Goodside businesses owners said they are thriving within the revolutionised precinct.

“Our Goodside store has delivered the busiest first year of all our three stores over our six-year history,” said Greg Cornes from Goodness Gracious.

Complementing Goodside’s great flavours from its eight different eateries, bars and restaurants, is the live music and DJ’s every weekend, plus the growing variety of events on offer. Goodside visitors really are spoilt for choice. Did we mention the free Wi-Fi, al fresco dining, excellent transport links, open green spaces and award-winning buildings?

Goodside is located behind the B:HIVE at Smales Farm, 74 Taharoto Road, Takapuna.
