SUBWAY INSPIRES WITH COOKIE HACKS

Subway New Zealand has delivered a salivating solution to self-isolation boredom, with an array of home-baking inspired recipe suggestions now available online.

Using its cult-favourite cookies as the base to create quick and easy recipes, the #Subwaycookiehacks movement is inspiring beginners and pro-bakers alike to make master chef worthy dessert creations with ease, from the comfort of your home kitchen.

For example, Subway fan favourites can now enjoy a range of tasty new recipes using one of their cookie favourites, including surrendering to a scrumptious Subway cookie ice cream sandwich, or having a go at masterfully re-creating the aptly termed ‘cookie pop,’ which stays true to its name by popping equal measures of colour and craveable taste.

The #Subwaycookiehacks movement comes as more New Zealanders are looking to discover, or fall back in love with, the simple art of home baking.

“While some restrictions have eased, many New Zealanders are still working from home and are keen to break their isolation boredom – #Subwaycookiehacks has come to the rescue,” said Subway Regional Public Relations Manager, Amanda Templeton.

“Particularly, we know especially there are lots of time poor parents who are keen to keep kids entertained during isolation, and so most of our recipes are easy enough for a toddler to pick up the spoon and help mix the bowl.”

#Subwaycookiehacks follows the release of its new Choc Espresso Flavoured Cookie, the latest addition to the iconic cult cookie range. Infused with a Columbian and Brazilian coffee blend, the limited-edition Choc Espresso is designed to inspire guests with a fine sweet tooth to fight off their coffee cravings.

Subway is encouraging aspiring chefs and bakers to share their favourite recipes with the #Subwaycookiehacks hashtag.

Subway’s cookie flavours include the Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, White Chip Macadamia, Oat and Rasin, and the limited-edition Choc Espresso Cookie.
