Our favourite video game company, Nintendo, has given us the surprise of a lifetime: 25+ new Nintendo Switch games.
The Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase featured games filled with clever storytelling, puzzling challenges, character customisation, exciting action and even some viscous goo.
Coming into winter, nothing is better than hunkering under covers and playing a video game, and Nintendo has ensured that during 2024, we don’t need to leave the house once with their surprise releases.
One of the highlights was the announcement of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. The action-adventure game sends Mickey Mouse on an epic journey that requires creativity and a spirit of discovery. Nothing is better than an immersive game combined with our favourite childhood character.
If that doesn’t excite you, Grounded, a survival-adventure game where you are the size of an ant, could be a better choice.
When all else fails, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is bound to catch your fancy. The game is the first new title in the Super Monkey Ball series in 10 years and can be played solo or with your online friends.
The range of games released features both innovative and nostalgic games. Famous names such as Demon Slayer, Star Wars, and South Park each have their game adaption coming out.
As if this wasn’t enough, Nintendo also revealed the new undersea exploration game Endless Ocean Luminous, where you can explore the depths of the mysterious veiled sea on your own or dive with up to thirty other players.
Finally, Nintendo announced that five classic Rare games will be added to the Nintendo Switch online and expansion pack collections on February 22, 2024.
I don’t know about you, but I know that my plans for this year definitely include these surprise Nintendo.
