In celebration of International Women’s Day, acclaimed toy brand, Barbie has released a range of 17 new dolls modelled after historical and modern-day inspirational women from around the world. Held on the March 8, International Women’s Day is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of strong women. The new dolls include historical figures such as; famed pilot Amelia Earhart, renowned artist Frida Kahlo and NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson. Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, and wildlife warrior Bindi Irwin are among some of the modern-day dolls that have been created.
